Additionally, they currently eat Marshall food, but I'm curious about other feeding alternatives, such as raw or dried meats, any advice on any of these topics is appreciated, and they have water avaliable at all times We have one hammock in the top tier, but they keep destroying them and trying to eat the fabric it seems They won't chew on rubber toys, and I'm worried that they've been eating the rope toys and stuffed animals (I remove them asap when I see they've been destroyed) I also would like to know what is the recommended time in-between vet visits? And if anyone knows pet insurance that accepts ferrets! I just want to improve their lives as much as possible □ They're the sweetest, loveliest boys and I want them to be happy I take them outside occasionally in their harness, and they absolutely love it Thank you ❤️ I'm home 24/7 so intervention is no issue. One of our boys has refused potty training, and I want to get that changed so they can have more freedom, absolutely any advice is helpful, they mostly poop in the same area, but if I put any kind of litter or box in that area, our bigger boy refuses to go near it and will go in other areas, even with putting poop in the box to show him where to go, we've tried litter pads as well, but our girl would rip them up and play under them, I plan to try this again. We're planning on getting them an enclosed playpen in the near future. Here's the details Currently we have our boys in a 3 tier ferret nation, they're out once to twice a day, supervised, around the house (I'm terrified of them nibbling on cords, I had a bunny in my childhood who did that, but I'm not even sure if I SHOULD be worried about that?). Our girl passed by something beyond our control (genetic), and she didn't show anything wrong until the day she passed, emergency vet said she wasn't confident enough about her knowledge with ferrets to operate. Hello there! I've been a ferret owner for about 6 months, I have 2 boys, we had a little girl who sadly passed this week, and I want to do better for our boys.
